I'm surprised that Fender would market a product like this. It does have an audience, but it doesn't seem like something they would be particularly interested in going after. I don't know how many $ they expect to make.
True story: I went to audition for a band once. There was just me and a drummer, and another guitar player showed up later on. I had my little Fender Super Champ (18 watts). The other guitar player brought along his 100 watt Marshall half stack.
I had no problem being heard, since we were in a house and didn't need to kill anything with volume.
When we were done, I packed up my stuff. Amp in one hand, guitar in the other. I asked the other guy if he needed any help. As he was wheeling out his half stack, he looked at my itty bitty Super Champ and said, "That's what I need, right there".
Brought a smile to my face, it did.
IMHO, EVERYBODY is too loud for most places they're playing.
Yes, even steel players.

Finally! An amp with a volume control that can go to twelve! I've long been tired of all those sissy amps that only go to eleven.
Gonna have a Nigel Tufnel signature model?
[This message was edited by Chris Bauer on 22 January 2005 at 04:21 PM.]

[This message was edited by Chris Bauer on 22 January 2005 at 04:22 PM.]
