EVM 12-L Deluxe Reverb
Took the back parts off the Deluxe to install
an EVM 12-L but there is a transformer very
close to one of the magnet frame supports and
the EVM won't go in because there isn't enough clearance, Just wondered if any of you had experienced this type of problem before. If so; how did you solve it? TJH

The EVM certainly has an unusual physical structure. I haven't put one in an DR but thanks for the warning. Just a very longshot----can you remove the baffle and flip it around so the speaker is offset to the other side? I'm on uncertain turf here because my DR cab is a repro and I have no idea if it is 100% accurate. The speaker is offset to the left, the Ch. 1 side. Is this correct?

Here's the fix:
Remove the speaker's finned back cover (as has been stated).
Move the front facing mounting point of the output transformer about 1-1/2~2". You'll have to drill a new hole for the front mounting and the transformer will be angled slightly but you'll be very happy with this speaker in a DR; I am!
