Well, for crissake!
I've recently bought: Brad's Black Box, the Peterson VSII tuner, and the Hilton volume pedal. Oh, and the new Bill Lawrence cable.
When is this going to end?!!!!!
But before it does, who have you guys and gals found has the best deal on the Peavey 112, and can you share with me their price?

Hi Carl,
Black Box: I describe it as putting "life" into my strings. Not an incredible amount of life as opposed to without, but it's noticeable enough to miss it if it wasn't there. It's a little hard to a/b, as there is a gain stage in the BB. I also use it with my bass (which I run through a Sho Bud Christmas Tree/JBL).
Hilton pedal: My enthusiasm here is the elimination of the pot. I've always used the patch on the front of the Nashville for my Ernie Ball, so degradation of tone wasn't something I really noticed with the Ball.
Bottom line: These "toys" make life fun (and the pedal makes it hassle-free)! I don't think the average, nonmusician listener out there could tell we've plopped down all this money to improve our "tone", and that, I find, pretty funny, but more than acceptable, because, to me, it's all about sounding the best I can for my own ears.

Thanks Al--Appreciate the info! I try to keep things as simple as possible but, if Brad's Box and Keith's Pedal enhance your sound, why not! I'm wanting to send my LDG to Duane Marrs ASAP for total overhaul and once this project is completed, I'll probably venture out and add some enhancements as you've done. Carl
