I need a schematic for my 1978 Webb 6 14 E. Can anybody help me? Sound is distorting on low strings, tried a new speaker, no help. Repairman needs a schematic.Thanks, Doyle

Doyle, this could be as simple as replacing the "in/out" switch on the EQ side. That switch is known to go bad and cause distortion.

Yup, what Kevin said. That EQ switch is the first gremlin in a Webb to rear its ugly head, most of the time. Your symptoms are common with this issue. You can find an adequate replacement at Radio Shack if you have a hard time locating a Carling. Even Carlings are imported now, I think.

thanks a million guys, I will try replaceing the switch first, Jerry ,I see the schematic in my download file, havent tried to pull it yet but I am sure it will be no problem . Thanks to all. Doyle
