Grommet for DD-3 ???

Post by George Rozak »

Anyone know a where to get a replacement for the grommet that cushions the on/off stop-screw (the screw that you have to take out to change the battery)on a DD-3? Mine pretty much disintegrated. Looks like it might need to be pretty close to an exact replacement as it appears to work in conjunction with the switch to turn the unit on & off.

Thanks...

George

You can check out any "Home-Depot" or "Lowes" for a small grommet which should work very well. As they are all "round", it will conform to the shape of the oblong hole of the DD-3. This is NOT a special grommet !! Look over in the screw and specitally items shelfs for them.

I know they're available through Roland Parts in CA but last time I checked they were around $3.50/ea plus flat rate shipping of $5.00. Think I would check a hardware/parts store as mentioned above.

Will do Kevin. $8.50 is a bit steep. Thanks for the help.
