Rack tuner
Which rack mount tuner do you use, DTR 1000 or 2000? or others?

Hi Earl, I use the DTR1000 and it is very very good. Very well lit, and easy to see, the note display is large as well so you could see it from across the stage if you needed to. Downside: doesn't read in hertz, so it might be difficult to use if you use the newman offsets. I tune straight up so it is ideal for me, very accurate. Also light weight so it doesn't add much to your rack weight. Has a mute button as well for silent tuning.

As the DTR-1 is an older model and may be found on E-Bay and other sales places, It canot be beat as a super tuner. (Please note that the DTR-1 isn't all that avalable fro different sources) I have used this tuner for a number of years and find it as reliable as any other device in it's field.
I understand that it has been superceeeded by other tuners, but I find that the DTR-1 has all the feathers as the newer units, plus looks much nicer than they do.
If you see one for sale (which is seldom) you better grag onto it if you can.
(Just my humble opnion)
