Re-capping your amp
I occasionally hear tech guys talk about replacing the caps of an amp. How long does it take for caps to wear out or get to the point where replacement is necessary? Can one really hear the difference? I've used the same Evans amp since 1987. Should I re-cap it? Whaddya think?

Doug,
Electrolytic caps should be replaced every so often.
