Super Reverb

Post by Steve Frost »

I was on a bike ride the other day, and passed a garage sale. Went over to take a look, and they had a Bassman head for $200, and a Super Reverb for $500. What's the price range on these? Looked old, but in decent condition. $500 is a bit high for me to be speculating, and I don't really need another amp.... but I can't help wondering if I ought to take another look. Feedback?

If they're in decent condition, then grab 'em
both. You can't go wrong with old Fender
amps. For that price, even if they need some
service, they're still worth it.

Is the Super Reverb a black face amp? If not, do you know what year it was made? Nearly ANY Super is worth $500.
