Session 500 with EVM-15L versus BW
I am wondering if anyone uses an EVM-15L in conjuction with a Peavey Session 500?
I bought a EVM-15L, and thought I might give it a try. I used one in my Fender Vibrosonic Reverb before I traded it with good results. I would appreciate feedback if anyone out there has tried it.
Thank you,
Lefty

I have EVM-15L's in both of my amps.
Only thing is they're Webb amps. But if you
liked it in your Vibrosonic, then chances are
you will in the Session 500 as well. The
speaker can change the overall character of
an amp. I'd say give it a try, what the heck.

I received the speaker, and it is the same as one I have in my Fender Pro. The ad said 400 watts but I believe it is rated at 200 watts 8 ohms. It will be less efficient than the B/W, but I never come close to using the wattage in the Session.
Thanks for the input Jay and Donny.

Lefty,
Just something for your information, the EVM-15L and the EVM-15S will add more depth to your sound than the BW speaker does ....The "L" and the "S" on these speakers stand for Long, and Short cone speaker ...I really like the sound I get from the "L" as it really smoothes things out if you happen to have a steel amp that is a little too brite or brash sounding ...Jim
