My Nash 400 has static that sounds awful. Is it probably shot?

Try Cleaning the Pre EQ jacks on the front of the amp....or jump them together with a guitar cord. If this solves the problem you acan plug & unplug a cord several times...if you have a good cleaner you might spray in the jack first. Also the Pwr Amp in jack on the back can cause the same problem. When all else fails Peavey has a very reasonable repair service with a fast turn-around. I have sent three different amps to them and the repairs were perfect and the price very reasonable. Good Luck

Thanks Bobby. I'll sure give that a try. I't's driving me crazy. We run out from my amp to the system at the shows and everyone says they can't hear it but I sure can and it makes me a little gunshy.
