This message is for the techie type dudes.

I won't go into a lot of detail here but I have completed the pictorial layout of the PCB's of this amp. If you wish to have a pictorial layout of the parts and such, I have done it for you. I have e-mailed Mr. Mike Brown at "Peavey" about this endevor and as they do not wish to make avalable this material on their web-site,I am now makeing this information avalable to the public.

If you are intrested in the electronics and pictorial layout of the conponnets, You can e-mail me at:

I would like to thank Bill for the effort and time that he put into this document. Our company policy is to offer schematics to our customers who have proper electronics training, and not the general public. Any repairs that are needed for your Session 400(or any Peavey product) should be repaired by qualified technicians.

I would like to thank all the folks that responded to my post of the "Peavey" Sessions 400, early 1972-75 model. I think I have sent all of you the information suffience to repair this ampifier. If I missed someone ,please let me know and I will send it to you again.

I must make a statement here about the Peavey" Company..... I,in NO way wish to imply that "Peavey" wasen't supporting this Ampifier. Only that they felt (beings that this amp is almost 30 years mature)that future research and developement of this amp wasen't in the uppermost minds of the average Steel player. I appericate all the help and support that Mike Brown and the "Peavey" Company has givin' us tech's (and players) in keeping this wonderful "Sessions 400" amp alive for more than 25+ years.

Mike..... To you and the "Peavey" Company, I offer (at no charge) all the photo-work and such I have done on this amp. You may use it as you wish.

This is my way of giving back to the Steel Community a bit of what I have learned and benifited from being involved and having a part of this great Steel faction we all love.
