Geo.L pickup

Post by John Daugherty »

I own the Marlen U12 that Leonard Stadler built for Jeff Newman. It has a Geo.L pickup and a 5-position rotary switch mounted in the guitar body.
I have never seen this arrangement before I got this guitar(~1992). I assume it is a tapped coil and the switch connects to the 5 taps. I can get 5 tone settings with this switch. I don't see a model# on the pickup.
Can anyone tell me if there is a model# for this pickup?

Sorry, I posted this in the wrong category. I don't want to sell... I want information.

It's a George L 12-5. And you're assumptions are correct.

Thanks a lot Don. I guess they don't make it anymore. I didn't see it in their products on their website.
I don't need one. I just wanted to know what I had on that Marlen.
