Bassman schematics A568?

Post by Joe E »

According to the Field Guide there was a change to the bassman in mid 68. If so I assume it was just to add the bias bal, but can not find a schematic for it. Anyone know?

I just bought an early 69 bassman that was placed in a combo cabinet with 2x12's on a diag. It appears to be a fender cabinet, but I can not find any fender combos that would fit the 22" bassman style head. I don,t think the speakers are Fender (Large square magnets--maybe ceramic)but the cab looks fender. (Not positive about the baffle either).

I was goint to buy a bassman to put into a combo style cab anyway so this fits the bill, just not sure about the circuits. Was hoping for a 66-67 and am not sure of how close I got circuit wise.

Any thoughts?

Thanks, I got the schematic now. It seems no one really has or talks about the change in the bassman in 68. The field guide not the link you gave me had the AB568 schematics. Luckily another forum member was able to send it to me.

Good info on the MOD's
