Best price to compare on Nashville 112?

Post by Eric West »

I have always been able to beat anything I've found at a place called Southbound Sound in southern Oregon, and have been told by a guy at a local music store that he'll beat anything I can find.

I seem to remember a 400 quote from somebody here.

What have they really been going for at the "best price"?

Are they best with a Blue Marvel, or BW, and at what price reflection?

Thanks for any info.

Hey Eric, I bought one from Bobbe 399 Plus shipping, and bought a display one at the Dallas show from Carter 375, but had to wait til sunday to get it. They're a good amp and they are light to carry.

Eric, I think you should patronize your local guy since he'll beat any price.

Of course, this assumes he can get them since the factory is out and supposedly the next production run due towards the end of May is already sold out. Image

BTW, we have 112's on order from that run. You can call us when our sales office reopens on June 2, 2004, after we get back from the Newberry Steel Guitar Festival in England.

Terry, I set my Nashville 112 almost like you would a Nashville 400. I set the Lows to 12 O'clock, the mids to 10 and the shift to 2 o'clock. The highs and presence to about a plus one. And the Blue Marvel speaker sounds just great. It's a great amp and Carter Guitars have got the best prices that I've found.--Henry

Thanks Henry. I think that will be my next amp. I'll leave my back breakin session 400 at church, and take my 112 to singins.
Your right about Carter havin the best deal on the nashville 112. I checked them out today, I think they were $479 and that includes shippin. Our local music store wants $519. yikes! but I could pay it out monthly there, and I imagine Carter wants cash money. which is understandable.

Terry Sneed ... hi ... actually, $479 is the MAP price (Minimum Advertised Price) required by Peavey.

You can contact us for pricing when our sales office reopens on June 2, 2004, after we get back from the Newberry Steel Guitar Festival in England.

btw: sometimes we also have show specials (at shows of course) on Peavey gear.

Right you are Ann. I have them on the floor
also. You should support your local store as John said. YOUR local dealer may be a few
dollars more but when you think about it hasn't he helped you over the years if you've supported him.
[This message was edited by Chuck McGill on 12 May 2004 at 04:09 AM.]
