Anybody using Frantone effects boxes?

Amplifiers, effects, pickups, electronic components, wiring, etc.

Anybody using Frantone effects boxes?

Post by Nicholas Dedring »

Heard someone playing lap steel with a Frantone "Brooklyn Overdrive" last night... knocked me out. Wondered whether anyone had used one of these boxes?

Specifically the brooklyn, but I'm curious to hear from any user of any frantone boxes...

Most particularly: is the bypass good on these? I hate the fact that stomp box bypasses sound like utter garbage most of the time; I don't want to have to always count on putting things on an effects loop.

I have read many great reviews of Frantone pedals. I have been tempted many times to order one or two. I recall the reviews saying the bypass was excellent. They liked everything about the pedals.
Someone had soundclips online. I will try to find them again for you.

Is there a website for these pedals? I need a good distortion pedal with no change in tone on bypass.
