Peavey BW 15 inch DT and SB ?

Can someone tell me if the DT will sound different from SB (shallow basket)?

I suspect that the DT are for larger cabinets. Will a DT fit/sound OK in a NV 400?

Dag I (and Doug Jones) have used the 1501DT for years and just love it. They are clean and have lots of presence. Get one, or two.

I use 2 1502 DTs in a LTD and one in a tube amp, Classic, they are great in my opinion, in fact I look for them on eBay now, the non metalic dust cover may have something to do with the non harsh sound, both are 4 ohms

I got two 1501 4ohms DT. They have a metalic cone.
Is there a different sound between SB and DT?
