Tubefex

Post by Lawrence Lupkin »

What exactly does a Tubefex do? I never heard of it until I started playing steel.

Thanks!

Thanks for asking Lawrence. The Tubefex is a preamp that has a built in digital processor that allows you to add multiple effects like reverb, chorus, delay, flange, and also allows you to choose the type of equalizer that you wish to use. You can also adjust parameters of these effects to your liking. Here is a link to the Tubefex operating guide from the Peavey website;

If you have any questions concerning the Tubefex, Profex II or Transtube Fex, I'll be more than happy to assist you. I can be reached in North America at 1-877-732-8391.
