Advice on Effects Hook-up

Post by Jim Dempsey »

Can anyone tell me if this is the correct way to hook-up?--Steel>Boss DS1(distortion) >Dunlop Crybaby (wah) >Boss DD3>Goodrich Vol.Ped.>Amp(Nash. 400).The second output of my Vol. Pedal>Boss TU2.I've heard that the Vol. Ped. should be the last in line. Thanks Jim

Hey Jim,
I had a problem putting my Boss DD-3 before the volume pedal. Sometimes I would get a distorted sound. Now I run the effects
after the pedal (don't know if that applies
to all effects but it definitely helped
me with the digital delay)

I would put the Delay after the volume pedal. This way the delay repeats aren't cut off when the volume pedal is pulled back in volume.
