cleaning the setting knobs?

what is the best way to clean these knobs, when they start making that kinda, static noise when turnin them? thanks guys

Terry, sometimes the best way is to just turn the knob as fast as you can back & forth for about a minute. The dust, dirt,oxide Etc builds up on the pot & this method wears it away sometimes. If this dont do the trick a deeper cleaning is in order maybe with some contact cleaner Etc.
