Nashville 1000 vs 112

Post by Jim Ives »

I am looking to buy a Peavey amp (used to have a Nashville 400 which I stupidly sold). Now I am debating a Nashville 1000 vs. a Nashville 112. I rarely gig out, for which I would use my Evans. Size and weight, while important, don't matter as much as sound.
Any thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Since you regret selling your Nashville why not try to find another before buying something you may not like.

The Nashville 1000 has the same modified Nashville 400 preamp with a better sounding cabinet. Also, the power has been increased from the analog 210 watts to the digital 300 watts for more headroom(more clean power).

However, if you intend on keeping the Evans, the Nashville 112 is more than enough to suffice for rehearsal and in home applications.
