Are replacement baskets available for the old style Black Widow speakers with the spider web on the magnet?

No they are not. If the basket on your old Spider/Peavey is defective, the complete speaker(magnet and basket)need replacing.

No problem. The 1501-4 sb(shallow basket) speaker is the one that I suggest. Item #00027010 for the complete BW.

I had a 15" Electro Voice speaker reconed recently, and by the time I paid for the recone and freight, I was almost at the cost of a new Black Widow. Reconing ain't cheap.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I found out what I needed to know. It just seems like a shame to have to junk a perfectly good magnet superstructure.
