Lexicon MPX G2 / Nashville 1000 Hookups!
Whats the best way to connect from steel to amp(1000), thru the effects (G2)?

For the maximum flexability, I would go from volume pedal direct into the G2, then from the insert send from the G2 into your Nashville 1000, then from the preamp out (or efx loop send, whatever they call it on the 1000) back to the insert return on the G2. Then you go from the output (mono) of the G2 back to the power amp in (aka efx loop return) of the 1000.
That way you can either use the preamp of the 1000 or bypass it and use the built in preamp of the G2, and you can also use the stomp box efx (e.g. compressors, overdrive, envelope filters) before the preamp stage, but you can put the reverb or time based efx (delay, chorus) after the preamp.
