how can i tell if my vegas 400 has a mod kit in it already????,, anybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at the op-amps, that would be a good indication. I think the kit supplies Burr Brown replacement op-amps.

The following info is taken from the Peavey website:
<SMALL>Nashville 400 amplifiers with serial numbers higher than 08575482 do not require the installation of this modification kit as this kit has been incorporated into the circuit at the factory. Serial numbers prior to the above are not modified.</SMALL>
