Session 500 line out

Post by Bill Ford »

Is there a way on a session500 to get the volume up on the lineout, and down on the speaker volume. I'm trying my hand at some rythem track recording and using headphones to listen to the playback on the headphone out on the recorder while I record on another track.

Bill, if you mean "off" when you say "down", then, since the 500 is solid state, you can just unplug the speaker cable from the amp. I did that often with my 500 with no problem.

Bill,
I use the Session 500 pre amp out for recording and turn the master volume down to zero. This amp has a wonderful pre-amp and sometimes I will use it to feed my Lexicons and go to the mixing board from the Lexicon.Send me your address and I will mail you one of my new CD's.

Plug a jack into 'Power amp in'. This disables the speaker.
