Nashville 400 question

Post by Richard Tipple »

I know this has been asked before but here goes,
what is the most definite way to tell if a mod has been installed.
I know a lot of times it depends on the date the amp was manufactured Etc. but I would like to know for sure if there is a way.
Is there somthing I could check out internally on the chassis, somthing to look for ??
Thanks in advance Image

Richard,

I had the same questions previously re: NV 400 / S400 LTD and Mike Brown from Peavey sent me the following:

first, check your serial #; if it's higher than #08575482, it already has the MOD.

Otherwise, to verify if MOD has been installed, you will need to compare the following document to your amp....requires taking out the electronics. http://www.peavey.com/media/pdf/steelguitar/nsh400mo.pdf

there are two "mods" out there right now; you will need to make the choice as to which one you want. the following thread may give some better insight: http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum11/HTML/004512.html

hope this helps.
