Peavey Nashville 4000 ?
Hey, how about squeezing the NV 1000 amp chassis into a NV 400 sized cabinet again. For the many E9 players out there that dont need the big bottom of the larger 1000 cabinet, a modern NV 400 sized amp would be a big hit wouldn't it?

It seems that tastes change.............daily. Have we all gotten lazy or something(including me)? I've used my Nashville 400 since 1985 and also the Nashville 1000 since it was introduced in 1999. What is the answer to the quest for good low end response? Compact or lightweight? To get sufficient low end for universal or C6th tunings, which is best, loss of low frequency reproduction or a cabinet that is small enough to fit into your automobile backseat?
It's a tradeoff, larger cabinet for more low end response or smaller cabinet for portability and less low end response. It's a hard call, but not impossible.
We are working on ways to "lighten the load", but provide the tone and power. Stay tuned.
By the way, what about the Nashville 112?

I think the desire for the NV400 sized amp has a lot to do with sheer size, lighter weight being a by-product. If you could squeeze that 300 watt digital amp with the latest preamp design and a 3-spring reverb into that small cabinet. I think it would be a hit. Bass response would be a trade-off but for E9 players, it's no biggie.
