Let's hear some spec's & history on the "Little Bull". I saw one for sale a year or so ago, but didn't know much about it & the seller didn't either.

Harry Jackson at Sho-Bud, built some amps in the early 70's ,(I think), that he called the BULL...Maybe that is one of them,and it was just called 'Little Bull'..
They sounded good ,but I have no idea of the specs...may be a different amp you ran across?????

I had one, with a 15" JBL in a cabinet about the size of a Nashville 400, around 70 watts. I swapped it to Jim Murphy, who still has it as far as I know.

That sounds like the Sho Bud Single Channel Amp which is what was made in the Early 70's after the so called Christmas Tree amp. They claimed 100 watts, but with 2 output transistors with approximately the same specs as a 2N3055 that would have been imposible, more like 50 - 60 Honest watts on a clear day. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/37.gif' border=0></a>

I worked there in 74 building those amps. Kenneth Cain designed the Single Channel Sho Bud amp and I don't ever recall it being called The little bull, However Shot told me one time that my amp cabinets looked like a Chicken Coop.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4_3_5.gif' border=0></a>

One other quick Sho Bud story, They told me to find some Green Naugahyde and cover a Pad For Lloyd Green's guitar. I did and he really liked it. I had just completed building some new amp cabinets and told Lloyd to bring his amp in as I had enough left over material to cover an amp. I covered one of the new cabinets and used a new baffle board with new Grill cloth and hardware and put the guts from Lloyds Single channel amp into a new cabinet and gave it to him. David Jackson was really Pi$$ed at me, but later on he came back and told me to go and get several more colors of NAugahyde and cover some more amps in Different colors. They had red, green, Brown saddle leather and maroon that year to display during Convention week and I didn't lose my job. Anyway Lloyd was happy and it was worth it. The bosses went around patting themselves on the back for the great idea "they" had for Different color amps for Convention week.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/37.gif' border=0></a>

Yes, correct. I have a SB Single Channel as well as an earlier Cain Custom (from San Antonio); all of them had the 5-knob configuration. I also have a Christmas Tree, and of the three, I prefer the Cain Custom.
