Did Zane Beck make an amplifier? If so, does anybody know about them? Thanks, Bill.

I don't know anything about them, but there was one on eBay a few days ago. It might still be there.

These amps were made by Standel Co. They made amps for Gibson also. I had two of them back in the 70s and early 80s, pretty much wore them out doing sessions with them.By the way, the Gibson models looked a lot the same as the ZBs. JayDee

Jay Dee...so they sounded good for sessions I gather?
was the wearing them out 'cause you used them so much or 'cause they were shoddily constructed?

both?

neither?
[This message was edited by Dave Van Allen on 16 October 2003 at 10:35 AM.]
