Using Laptop for input to amplifier

Post by Roy Ayres »

I have ordered BIAB and should receive it in a few days. Once I have developed some backup tracks, can I plug the output of my laptop sound card directly into my Nashville 1000? If not, what do I have to do to interface them properly?

Roy, is should work fine. I plug into PAs and other amps and at home just use the optional ad on computer speakers with the separate bass speaker and they don't cost much and can control the volume easier than going through an amp.

Thanks, Gary. That's what I needed to know. I have a good set of stereo computer speakers -- woofer and two small speakers -- for use at home. I would use them unless I needed more volume, in which case it would be nice to be able to just go straight into the instrument input of my Nash 1000 or Fender Princeton.
