Extension speaker?
I have a Fender Twin and 2 speaker cabs.
One has 2-12's (4 ohms) and the other a 15"
8 ohm celestion speaker.
When using both cabs which one should be used as the "Extension" speaker?

Thanx..I intended on using both cabs tonite on our gig, but then changed my mind and used the 15" Celestion in a closed cabinet.
(8 0hms)
It broke up pretty bad..maybe too much bass on my settings.
Using the same settings I tried the 2-12" speakers, (1 Mesa Black Shadow and 1 Celestion Silver Series 70 Watt.)
I have been using this cabinet for about 4 years and it sounds great...at my house at a lower volume the 15" sounded really good but out on stage it just didn't cut it so I sure don't want to use it as an extension.
Just another dumb idea in the pursuit of a better sound.

You play at lower volume sometimes, Jack? I did not know that!
