Amp Tech in Boulder/Denver Area for Webb 614E?

I've got a '78 Webb 614-E that needs old-age related work - new caps, noisy pots, burnt out pilot lights. Not smart enough to do it myself, but I'd like to find somebody I can trust it to to bring it back up to snuff.

It still looks great, almost in pristine condition; like to get it sounding as good as it looks, take out the frying sound, etc.

Anybody know whether the tech Wildwood Music in Louisville uses might be a good choice?

Also would have to be somebody who would probably have to work without a schematic or component layout.

I used to work for U S WEST Advanced Technologies and a tech that worked for me repaired my Webb without a schematic. He lives in Golden and his name is Joe Sheehan. He should be in the phone book. I don't know if Joe would do the work or not. He also used to own Golden TV. Just a thought.

On another occaqsion he steered me to a reconing company that did an excellent job on my JBL.

Bob,

If you dont find someone to repair your amp you may see about sending it to the Webb Shop. However this may take around 3 weeks to get fixed. Gentlemen, thanks for the responses.

I also very much appreciate the e-mail back and forth I've had with Jay and John Arnold. Looks like I'm in good shape with a couple of local leads and complete confidence in the Webb schematic that Jay sent me some time ago. Also thanks to you John Bresler for that lead.

And Mr. Webb, thanks for your offer; you've given me something to think about, and I'll be giving you a call. The amp has never been worked on. Even though it needs some now, that says a lot for the qualilty of a quarter century old product, thanks.

This forum - pretty nice. Good leads, good info, good offers of help. I'm very grateful.
