There are many EH Memory Man pedals (5 or 6 variations), all with their own schematic and there were lots of part variations within the same units, as well. Which one do you have? (# of knobs, chorus or not, Deluxe or not, ect.)
Many of the older pedals used solid core wire that got very brittle in time and would continually break. I know because I had a blue DMM, 4 knob that I used to fix about every 6 week until I put all new wire in it (stranded, which will flex and remain good over a long time).
Also, replacing all the electrolytic caps on the older pedals is a good call on these units.
