evans 100 watt amp

I see that some steelers are using the fairly new Evans 100 watt,28lb,archtop amp. super picker Al Brisco says he is using one as his regular amp and that he plays in venues of 200 people with a five piece band without mikeing the amp or using an extra speaker d that it puts out just fine. What think you pickers who are tired of the big heavies.
