I ordered a bunch of tubes---I've read good stuff about the JJ Teslas and about Bob Pletka at Eurotube so I called him on Tuesday, late afternoon--he's in Oregon, I believe, and I had them here in NYC Thursday afternoon! And it wasn't a rush order or anything. Like wow.
I haven't tried the tubes yet but I'm hoping they will make a BF Showman sing.

I have been buying exclusively JJ tubes from Mojotone. I needed 6 each 6L6GC the other day and did not want to wait a week to get them from North Carolina. I called Bob (he is just 25 miles away) and chatted with him for about 15 minutes. Great guy and a wealth of info. It cost me about $10.00 more for all six tubes than I would normally pay, but the service and speed of delivery was well worth it.
Bob runs a small business out of his home and appreciates his customers very much! Also JJ tubes has brought out a GZ34! Finally an alternative to the cheap Chinese tube or the $80.00 or more cost of a NOS tube! These are based on the Mullard and are already getting great reviews.
[This message was edited by Ken Fox on 08 February 2003 at 11:23 AM.]
