Anyone got any experience with the Peavey Tube Sweetner?

I have used the Tube Sweetener with my Nashville 400. I tried using it between the guitar and the amp and also between the PRE AMP OUT and POWER AMP IN insert jacks on the rear panel. I preferred the latter connection.

I used a tube sweetener for a couple of years.
The group I was touring with started using ear monitors on stage. I was playing through a ProfexII and running direct to the house board. The Tube Sweetener helped to beef-up the steel in my ear monitors.
