Special 130

Post by Dave Seddon »

Has anyone got a circuit diagram & component layout drawing of the Special 130. I have one that needs a bit of work on it. I looked on the Peavey site but no joy. I would very much appreciate it if anyone could scan me a copy.
Cheers
Dave.

Thanks to Dave Decker I now have my Special 130 up and running. It may well be a good guitar amp but I am using it with my MSA and it sounds great. I reckon with a 15" Black Widow you would have a job to tell the difference between it and a Nashville 400, from the point of view of tone that is. With a mod kit I this would make a brilliant steel amp for the home and small gigs.
Cheers

Dave , I have a Peavey Special ( the 160 watt version) That I've built a new Cab. for and put in a new Black Widow 15" 1501-4. They do sound real nice. Also LeMay offers a Mod kit for the 160 watt version. I will be ofering it for sale on the forum in the near future. I've sent you pictures of it.
