HELP! Need a fuse for Mosvalve 1500

Post by Mark van Allen »

Hey gang, My Mosvalve 1500 Power amp has been a real workhorse- blew the small 12 amp glass fuse that's in the AC receptacle holder- and try as I may I can find nowhere that stocks those... it's a bit smaller than the small size automotive glass fuses, I have no idea where to get spares. Anybody got ideas or spares you can part with? Thanks!

The metal end cap should have a numbers on one end...one is the fuse rating, and the other is usually the fuse type. For example...3AG 250V 10A. Fuse guages range from SFE4 (1AG) to SFE30 (9AG).

Or...if it's the standard fuse diameter, and you can give me the end-to-end length, I can tell you what type it is. (I knew that old fuse-guage would come in handy, one day!)
[This message was edited by Donny Hinson on 03 January 2003 at 04:56 PM.]

Thanks Donny, but this is one I haven't seen before. Marked on one end 250V 12A, other end GFE CQ . It's exactly 10 cm long, but seems slightly smaller in diameter than the 10cm autom fuses. I don't know, some kind of European thang? Thanks for the help...

Thanks, Kevin, but that number's out of service- got another? I've emailed Mosvalve several times and no response... it's not like I want much!
