JBL E-130 ?'s
I have a E-130 4 ohm that came in a used Evans FET-500 amp I bought a few years ago. My question is Did JBL make this series or specific 4 ohm for the steel guitar amp builders? If I recall, the Webbs had them years ago and Evans in the Darrell Stephens era. Any scoop? Thanks, DJ.

It is my understanding that any speakers installed in today's high end steel amps are built to the amp manufacturers specs.
The Evans Eclipse is made by Eminence to Evans specs. Some of their other speaker models look similar, but don't match the Evans exactly.
I have heard also that the JBL E-130-4ohm is made exclusively for Webb amps. I remember seeing some posts in the last few years from members looking for these speakers, and that Webb was the only source. Not sure, but I believe that is what I have seen.
Thanks, God Bless,
Michael T.

I don't think even Webb has the 4 ohm
versions available any longer. JBL
discontinued them awhile back.
They've been using alot of their own
(Eminence made) Webb speakers. The
E-130's they now offer are 8 ohm.
