DD5 placement
Just aquired a DD5 Delay.. should it be placed between the guitar & volume pedal, or between volume pedal & amp... And should the reverb on the amp be turned on or off... Thanks

The answer to both your questions is "it depends". Do you want your volume pedal to cut off the delay? If so put the DD-5 between your guitar and volume pedal -- otherwise put it after. Delay is one of those effects that are usually placed late in the signal chain. Placed after the volume pedal, the delayed signal will decay on its own.
Do you want to use both reverb and delay? If so, unless you have an outboard reverb you didn't mention, you will need to use amp reverb. All these decisions affect of your personal sound, along with brand of guitar, amp, your approach to the instrument, and a lot of other stuff. Hope this helps.
