Goodrich VP ?

Yes, it is the pot. The 10K pedals pot life is sposed to be greater. They also make a pedal with a built in Match Box. I like this one for playing lap steel.

I have one of the 10K pedals. They are the only pedal Buddy Rocket uses, and he slod me mine. You can buy 10K pots for a lot less than the 500K pots in the regular Goodrich pedals.

I worked on an L10K pedal (repalced the pot) and it had a battery. Are all of them that way? Nice pedal, I liked the response way better than my standard Goodrich pedal with the 500K pot![This message was edited by Ken Fox on 28 November 2002 at 07:54 AM.]

Yeah: I was going to ask.What (if) any advantage to having a 10k pot? I know ther're cheaper.But cheaper ain't always better.Anyone have both and how do they compare? Thanks -bb

BTW Steve. Buddy Rocket sold you a 10k pedal.I hate to be the one to have to tell you but he only uses the 500 K pots.I think maybe that was your first lesson.

The Goodrich L10K has a built in buffer amp, hence the battery. I've been using one for about five years now. The battery lasts a very long time. I change it about every six months to be on the safe side. I found this peddle enhances the tone and sustain of the guitar, and there no tonal change as you push the pedal through its range. I haven't had to change the pot yet. I love this pedal.
