Profex II Question

Post by kbdrost »

I just turned on my Profex II and tried to dial in a setting. Every time I try, I get a message saying "Param Out of Range" and when it finally opens up, it has some incomprehensible identification for the preset. Do I need to reload the presets? Does this baby need a trip to the factory? If so, anybody got a clue how to do this?

Do you have your settings saved on a card or a midi storage device? If so, reinitialize by holding down the play and global buttons then applying power. Reload your presets after initialization.

Your battery may be low and you are losing your presets. Just a guess. Take a look at the battery and see if it has leaked and possibly caused damage to the circuit board.
