Need help on effects/processors

Any recommendations for an effects pedal or processor that will help with achieving a lap steel sound? Also, would like to broaden my EQ on the guitar. I'm playing a Sho-Bud Professional through a Session 400 (Sho-Bud pedal). Any help would be sho nuff appreciated.
