? Sho-Bud pedal

Post by bill dearmore »

Hi Gang...I have a friend with a SHO BUD volume pedal that is making a humming noise when opened up. I suspect a wiring problem. There is only one wire going to the back plug-in jack... Does anyone know how the wiring should be configured? Thanks,Bill

That's correct Bill on the output jack...just one wire.
The input jack is the one that should have two wires....One Ground and One hot.

One wire to the output jack is right. The ground is through the pedal. I just got a new Emmons volume pedal and that's how they wired it also. I really like my Emmons pedal. It has the peg on it that goes into the pedal rack and holds it in place. They put an extra output jack on it for me to. What a nice bunch of people to do business with! Image
