TRANSTUBE FEX Problem - Attn: Mike B.

Post by Tim Harr »

Hey Mike,

Hope the weather is still somehat warmn there in ol' Miss...

The problem I am having is the Left Output Jck on the TTFEX. It is intermittent.
Yes, I have tried many cords and found the same problem. How hard is this to fix locally or will it require that I send it to your friends at the shop?

I am thinking of buying the v2.0 upgrade. Maybe it would be a "goodtime" to get the output jack fixed.

What do you think??

Thanks is advance...

Tim, we think that there is just a solder problem on that jack itself. It should be pretty easy to repair. Any tech should be able to handle.

However, if you wish to send it to us here at Peavey, please do so. Our address is;
Peavey Service Center
Attention; Repair Dept.
Hwy. 80 East
Meridian, MS 39301

This is what I thought.

I just wanted to check. I have no problem taking the cover off and doing a quick "touch up" with the solder connections.

I just wanted to see if you knew of any common problem with this.

I will let you know how it goes. OK.

Thanks as always for a speedy reply.
