I want to replace the speaker in my Evans SE 200 amp.
It has the Eminence Delta 15" right now.
what would be a better 15" speaker to take it's place.
Thanks..

I'd say keep what you have. I replaced a JBL with an Evans Eminence speaker many years ago. I liked the tone, could never get it to break up, and the amp was much lighter. Image

I replaced the Eminence in my Evans FET 500 with a Black Widow 1501-4. I like the sound, has a bit more bite to it, but is not quite as smooth sounding. I guess it depends on what qualities of the sound you wish to change. They are both great speakers. Down side is the amp weighs a bit more.
[This message was edited by Jim Bob Sedgwick on 20 October 2002 at 10:25 PM.]

I'm curious... is it the Delta Pro 15(80 oz. magnet)???

or the Delta 15(56 oz. magnet)

I was considering trying one of these.
