Can someone please tel me how to hook up a stewart power amp,a MPX100 Lexicon and a evans pre-amp,I'll try any and all hookup solutions anyone can give me,where to start and where to end up,etc.

Dlayne,

I would start out this way. From the Steel to the Foot Pedal....From the foot pedal to the Pre-Amp....from Pre Amp to Lexicon.....from Lexicon to power amp.

There may be some other methods but I would start out that way.

PS The whole idea of the pre-amp in the chain first is to do all steel processing before reverb and amplification. Otherwise you are processing the reverb as well which can lead to some undesireable sounds.

The Evans preamp has an effects loop.

Hook it up like this:

Guitar to volume pedal
Pedal to preamp input on Evans front panel
From Evans effect send go to Lexicon input.
from Lexicon output go to Evans effects return.

Go from stereo output on back panel of Evans to your power amp. Remember to use speaker cable from the power amp to your speakers Image
