Boss GT-6

Post by JB Arnold »

Just bought one-as did Cage-and I gotta say I like it already. Much more user friendly than the POD I traded in, and quieter too-has all the COSM stuff plus every Boss pedal ever made is locked up in there. Even just the presets have about 9 or 10 that I can see using for steel with some modest tweaking-

anyone else using one?

Yea I got me one of dem dare thangs about 3 weeks ago. I really like it. I traded in the V-AMP2 amp simulation unit for the GT-6. The V-AMP was a good modeling unit but not so user friendly and couldn't switch to another model as quickly as on the GT-6. I may even get me another GT-6 on down the road. I especially like the simulation of the Fender Twin REverb with 2x12". Hint, swap your presets from one position to another instead of overwriting them.

Picked one up yesterday. I agree with you about the Twin Sim. Can't wait to get a little deeper in to this unit. Lots of stuff to explore.
