excellent boss tone setting

I was messing with my sho-sound boss tone the other day try string stuff and rolled my attack knob all the way off and turned it up so that the part off the know where it says b16 was straight up.Well the b part really.It sounds so neat because the tone changes a little bit.Anybody else have any advice on this?

I turn my attack off and turn it on so it's just barely on to get a rock distortion sound. More than that is too much, except for string sounds which I don't use it for.
