Rack tuner setup?
I have a Sabine RT-7100 rack tuner on order and asking does it go 1st in the train from the guitar to my Profex II and then into my ADA power amp and out to the speakers?
I think that would be right but would like some input on this.
Thanks,
Don

Thanks guys, I thought that was the way to do it so as not to be affected my the Profex signal.
By the way the nice thing about the Sabine RT-7100 is that it comes with a built in A/B switch so it won't affect the signal when it is not needed for tuning.
Check the Sabine website for this and more.

I run from the guitar to a Hilton pedal then into the DTR-1 and from the tuner to the Profex II, Transtubefex or Lexicon MPX 1 depending on which unit I am using at the time. Since the DTR-1 has a mute I can tweak the tuning without being heard or unplugging anything. Is is possible that the tuner could be robbing my sound in any way? I thought this was the correct way.

I don't think that the tuner would cause an impedence problem, as long as you use the Hilton volume pedal.
I use a Hilton Digital Sustain unit. On the output side I plug in a "Y" connector I purchased at Radio Shack. One output goes to my F/X units and on out to the amp. The other output goes to my tuner. This should cause an impedence problem, but it doesn't because of the Hilton unit. When I plug the tuner in, there is no change in tone. Now, if I don't use the Hilton unit and plug the "Y" connector directly in to the guitar, it's a different story. Once I plug the tuner in to the extra output, the tone muddies up quite a bit.

I received the Sabine RT-7100 yesterday and tried to tune my steel with it and found it very irratic and confusing with the lights going this way and that, so I sent it back.
I think I'll stick with my Korg with the needle instead of the the lights to try and get in tune.
Even when it said I was in tune when I tried to play a chord I was out of tune.
I see that Korg has a new digital tuner calld the DTR-2000 has anyone tried it out yet?
