I set out to make that dream amp.. bought the '72 export chassis from a guy in the Nederlands, the '67 cabinet from one of our members in Canada, 2-JBL Orange D120F's from a guy on Ebay.. cloth, tolex, logo, faceplate, knobs, misc. parts online.. built the birch baffle.. put it all together in about 3 days.. plugged everything in... crap!! low power, crappy distortion.. so I see that a 6L6 isn't lighting up.. I switched the tubes around to troubleshoot the tubes and sockets.. turned her back on.. Holy Cows!! I really can't believe the tone.. as sweet and clean and deeeep reverb and power to burn.. I'm in heaven man.. I've been steelin for about 5 hours straight now, thought I'd take a break and say Yee Haw! and right this down... I was hoping I wouldn't look back and see a terrific waste of my money and time.. Image I'd do it again and again.. Image Image Image Image Image
Happy Camper Ricky

Good job! You might want to clean and retension those power tube sockets. Great tone for sure!
